Newport, RI-based Coastal Queen Cruises and parent company CMS hired Nick Woviotis to shoot a video for cruising vessel Coastal Queen's new website after seeing a stunning video he posted on Facebook that featured the boat. It was clear from the aerial marine video that Nick knew how to capture the spirit and beauty of marine vessels as they moved through the water. Coastal Queen's website video profiled the boat as it cruised along its route through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay and showcased all of the points of interest folks see on the daily cruises. Nick worked with our team and our website designers to edit the videos down to the technical sizes we needed and to add captions to enhance the video. This video is a great start to a library of video we hope to keep building on and adding to with Nick's talent. We first met Nick in the fall of 2021 when he produced a short clip for our 2021 Viper North American Championship and since then had been trying to find an opportunity to hire Skylla Filmworks for their event coverage services. In March 2022 Nick had reached out to the Viper Class on behalf of another class to see if we were interested in joint media coverage for the Bacardi Cup in Miami. He exceed our expectations of the daily recaps both in the quality of videos and also with the speed in which the videos were produced and posted in the same day! We were also impressed with the with the on-the-water coverage and on-shore interviews, but his ability to film and edit the true spirit of what it is to sail a Viper is second to none. Nick was very professional in setting up the deliverables and we look forward to working with Skylla Filmworks again.
